How much do you charge?

We can come up with a estimated cost for a project before beginning work, by looking at the depth and detail and quality requested of a project, as well as estimated time needed to complete that project.

In order to determine all the factors that make up final cost, we need to ask lots of questions about your project, gather information, sometimes along with research, and consultation to come up with a plan that fits your needs.

Often times a client has an idea and a budget that they have to work with . If this is the case we often are able to determine the breadth of the project based on the desired budget, so that information is a key factor in developing the full vision of a project.  If the desired needs of the project are outside of the current available budget, many options and arrangements can be made to accommodate budget needs, from payment plans , exchange of services, or a combination of compensation options arranged between the client and Phen Media. – All options are open so let’s discus what we can do to help your vision come to life!

We specialize in many creative services, from Art direction, Design Consultation, Graphic design for print and web, Branding, Logo and Identity Creation, Marketing, Promotion, Photography, Film and Video scripting direction and production, Illustration, Copywriting. Illustration , Styling, Advertising, Film making, artist/talent/event promotion, Merchandising campaigns.. etc

There isn’t really anything that we cannot help with, as a Creative Agency . We have a network of talented individuals in many creative disciplines and technical skills. Many ideas require several specialized skill from different  creative fields. We facilitate and arrange harmonizing these talents together for a project solution.

What is your process and how do you work?

You are unique, and so is your project!  Therefore a unique process needs to be customized for your needs.  This involves asking lots of questions about your project to gather information, and along with research and consultation to come up with a plan that fits your needs.

Once we have scoped out the project, we can work along with you through the project checking in, asking questions and evaluating progress along the way till completion. We love to make you happy and get excited when you love what you see , that really motivates us!

About the Creative process [ i.e. what you can't buy in a store]

Chances are you are in search of an original look, idea, or solution for your project, that you can’t just ” buy off the shelf” You need someone to design or create something just for you, an original piece for a certain purpose. This process of creation is unique to the Arts, and is something of a mystery as to how it works, but understanding the concept helps give an insight into where these “creatives” are coming from.

The creative and artistic process is an “Art”  a kin to a Chef or Musician’s work, as there is a level of “magic” involved in creativity. Most projects require original ideas, thoughts and creativity, that you just can’t buy in a store. It takes natural and trained talent to “see” an idea in one’s mind and then transform that idea through technical skill to a physical form. The ability to do this comes from natural talent, training, and experience.

Something that make take an artist 3 hours to do, may take an unskilled individual a life-time in their atempt to pull off.

Many people may look at a piece of modern art that sells for millions and say  ” my three year old could do that” and dismiss the context, meaning, and intentionality of the work as it is seen by the artistic buyers. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but it is also held up by a standard with in the global community of designers and industry experts in their respective fields. Value is also in the use and meaning ascribed to a work which while subjective in some respects, it also comes from a consensus of agreement in a cultural appreciation.

If your image is in agreement with cultural appreciation, the value of the image can be greater than the cost of achieving it technically , it is the value of the IDEA, which makes its greatness.

A gourmet Chef may prepare French Cuisine in 40 minutes, but his ability  to do so is not so expendable,  he has resources available, in ingredients, secret recipes, talent and of course his skill, passion and personal style.

Artistic skill is some times hard to quantify for people, but when you see the result you know it is right.

The simplest stroke on a paper, could take a Japanese calligrapher a life time to master.
